navigation panel

Hi,

I installed win8 on my home pc & laptop over XP & vista respectively.

I am using classic shell in Windows 8 on my home pc & laptop.

The laptop one shows the navigation pane with vertical dotted lines & the partitions spread out as opposed to my PC.

Anybody knows how to make the laptop show things as per PC? .....thanx ....nick
