UEFI Firmware Setting troubles

Specs: I am running pre-built computer with i5-4430 cpu, antec basiq 550w psu, seagate barracuda hdd 2tb, windows 8.1, a MS-7826 (Kaili) mobo made by msi, and a xfx 7850 gpu. I installed the gpu and psu myself.
What I am trying to do is get to my bios and disable the secure boot so that I am able to install ubuntu. I plan to dual boot Ubuntu and windows 8. However, when I try clicked on the UEFI Firmware Settings my computer than started to emit three long beeps and stops displaying anything to my monitor. This happened to me before earlier in the year as well. What I did then was unplugged my gpu and the beeping stopped. I was ghen able to go on my pc, do a system restore, and all was well. I just never touched the setting again. Then today( totally forgetting about this experience) click on it again and the problem came back. I have done basic trouble shooting and am stumped as to what I should do. I have restarted my computer, unplugged from wall, changed outlets, cleaned pc, tested the gpu on my brothers pc, looked up the beeps meaning ( apparently it is either a "keyboard error" or specific error code to the mother and I can not find the manual. I have also tested the gpu on my brothers rig and it has worked fine. I have uninstalled and re installed the drivers as well. It has also worked completely fine up until this point and I was able to get expected quality in game as well. The card is also less than a year old. Now I could system restore again but I would still need to access the UEFI Firmware Setting again and I want to 1. Make sure my computer will be ok when I install Ubuntu 2. Know what is wrong with my computer and it will be ok even if I do not install Ubuntu
Any help is highly appreciated and thank you in advance for helping.
