I have a new laptop (~2 months old now) it came with windows 8 which I upgraded to 8.1.
I find that windows occasionally takes a really long time to load from the login screen,
or firefox will hand when trying to open,
or videos will hang for a second and then go wonky for a seconds when the laptop is moved or bumped.
I'm wondering if adding in a SSD and dumping windows on it will fix these problems. I really don't want to spend any more money on the thing, but these annoyances are getting to me... Luckily the Laptop has an extra bay for an additional HD so space isn't an issue.
I'm just not familiar enough with the root cause of windows 8 issues to tell if this will help or not. Any insights would be greath!
