Google Drive not installing on Win 8 Laptop

I have downloaded the application: GoogleDriveSync a number of times .... ran it but Google Drive not showing up on my PC.
Dropbox shows up just fine under Favorites but not Google Drive.
Wonder what I am doing wrong.

Any help appreciated.
