I would be extremely grateful for any help with this. I recently did a clean reinstall of Win 8 which went without problem.
However I discovered that the version of my graphic card driver which I had has been changed in it's latest version (only one now available) removing a feature I had on my old graphics driver which I desperately need to reinstall. Fortunately when I did the clean reinstall a backup file "Windows.Old" was automatically created (WHEW!) and my old driver file is present there intact. Now it's like "Gold" so I immediately backed up the backup by burning it to a dvd in the useable USB format option in win 8 so I have it in Windows.old and on dvd also. The folder and contents are listed as follows.
Main File Folder: Nividia Corporation
Sub-folders within it:
Control Panel Client
Coprocmanager
Display
DRS
Install 2
Open CL
PhysX
License. Txt
The total contents are: 330 Files, 32 Folders and the Size is 452 MB.
I have no idea how to reinstall this driver package or where it belongs on my computer. Can anyone provide step by step instructions as to how to do it? It would really save me. Many thanks for your assistance!
