Hello,
Please excuse me as a newbie if I have posted in the wrong area.
For some time I have been using file history to back up to a WD My Passport hard drive. The hard drive has been left permanently connected and files have been automaticaly backed up. Now, for no apparent reason the backup has stopped and the file history page says that " this device is not recognised"
In spite of this I have successfully completed a full system backup which was saved to the WD hard drive and I am able to access all the data saved on this drive.
When I attempt to launch the backup manually I am told to connect the hard drive even though this is connected.
I have tried a different external hard drive and this is no longer recognised in spite of being used successfully on a previous occasion.
Below are the details of my system.
All help would be welcome.
