Since my computer crashed and the only way I could recover it was to download an ISO of an OS that would work, I installed the Enterprise 90 day evaluation version of windows 8.1. Now I finally found the correct ISO that will work with my embedded BIOS key and actually give me a legitimate licensed windows 8 that doesn't expire in 90 days. Here's my problem. I now have Enterprise 8.1 installed on partition C and it also contains the boot files. I have my legitimate windows 8 (verified with the original embedded key) installed on partition D, which is OK because they will dual boot. IE, I get a bootscreen with the option to pick which system to boot. How can I uninstall the Enterprise version without corrupting my boot files? And will windows continue to boot in the current configuration after 90 days when Enterprise 8.1 expires? Since I now know that my windows 8 ISO will work with the key that I have written down, I could wipe the hard drive again and just install windows 8, but I think there has to be an easier solution. Any suggestions?
