dialogue box to small, no buttons, windows 8 or word13 issue

Not sure if this a windows 8 issue or office 13

But , as you can see from the image - the buttons are not visible-
from Word, I used Save As
on first opening the dialogue box is behind the task bar
i then hid the task bar and tried to resize the dialogue box and no matter what I tried , i could not get to the buttons. the screen resized , but not to show buttons ...
Didn't help I was teaching someone windows 8 and word !!!!!!!

any ideas ?
