Overdrive Media Console App

Windows 8 and the store says that I own and have Installed the above app. But when I click "open" I am told "no apps exist to open this file" and it sends me back to the store. If I click on the icon in the start screen, it takes me to the "add a library" prompt but the player won't open and download the title into it. Thank you for any help you can provide.
