Audio Issue with Xchange 2 Metal detector Prg

HI guys I need help with an audio problem I run windows 8 I7 32 Mb ram very fast computer runs fine I use a Bose Speaker computer setup which use a USB plug and all sounds work just fine window, games, music, video,.

I installed a Metal detecting programme called Xchange 2 its free programme for my CTX 3030

The Programme is built for windows 7 basically this programme setup discrimination setting for a metal detect and one section you use to setup different sound for different types of metals which I need to hear through the speaker BUT it doesnt work I don't even see then programme when i click the audo speaker in the bottom left corner tray.
When I chang the to the Head phones the programme appears.

I can get the sound to work at all .

BUT If I plug in a USB head set the sound works FINE but it won't work through the Bose USB speaker set up.

Any Ideas ??
