I have a client who is running a BYOD (bring your own device) office, and one of the users has Win8 on his laptop. All other users are running Win7.
All users are connecting to the network via Wifi, and they have a Ricoh 4500 series network printer/scanner/copier in the mix as well.
The issue that I'm seeing is whenever the person with Win 8 prints something, and something happens to the printer (ie, runs out of paper), that print job holds back everything else, even after the paper is replaced (or whatever other issue the printer experienced).
As soon as the Win8 user clears his print queue locally on his machine and the job is cleared from the printer, then everything else starts printing again with no issues.
Any ideas?
