PC games - Windows 8

Hi,

I was browsing through Amazon looking for games for the PC and noticed that the OS requirements were for windows 7 and not 8.

I ask as I am going to get a new PC and will choose Windows 7 because of this, but I thought windows 8 was supposed to be better?
