I wanna kill all the permission req'd & "you cant do that sort" of messages forever!

I am sooooo tired of Gatesy telling me what I can and can't do with my PC!

I know, I know, all to do with increased security yadda yadda but I just can't seem to get rid of them and that really bugs me!

I am an Administrator in User Accounts, have FULL control over EVERYTHING on the PC yet on some programs I am forever being told I do not have the rights" to take such and such an action.....................

I have set up all the default applications for opening up the various files, folders, programs etc. I have waded through the Administrative Tools and (think) I have ticked all the boxes that allow me to do everything including arm the self destruct mechanism but I just can't seem to pin it down.

I'll admit it is NOT happening every five minutes but it annoys me I can't get rid of these messages altogether, and I understand the risk in so doing.

On other occasions, I get the box to "do something" but the option is greyed out and I can't get to it!

I apologize for not listing the offending applications that produce these messages, they just happen out of the blue telling me I Need Admin privileges but I just click "continue" and then everything is OK so why the warning in the first place?

Not a great post I'm sorry but at least you have the general idea! I want a big RED BUTTON that says YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU LIKE FROM NOW ON!

Any suggestion, hints all taken with no hard feelings if I have been stoopid!
