Cannot click on anything at YouTube

Hello, I have Windows 8.1 and suddenly I am having problems at the YouTube site...

I have Windows 8.1
I have Internet Explorer 11.

Now suddenly when I try to go to the YouTube site... the page freezes and something comes up saying:

"You Tube is not responding. Recover page."

Then I click that, the page refreshes and it works.
For a minute... then when I try to scroll down the page it freezes up
again.

Also when I try to use the drop-down menu where my profile name is for YouTube it doesnt do anything. And when I try to put a name of a video in the search it freezes up. Unless I refresh the page.
Also on a few other pages, if I try to click a button it doesn't do
anything.

Can anyone help me please? It does this every single time now, I have to keep refreshing the page all through the time I spend at YouTube.
