Hi, hoping someone can help!
I recently updated to Windows 8.1 and am having a few problems with it. Notably that Google Chrome seems to have gone a little crazy. When I open Chrome it opens as an entirely new page, separate from my desktop (so I lose the Windows taskbar completely whenever I'm using Chrome). It's a bit annoying having to switch back to the desktop (mouse top left corner) every time I want to change the computer volume/look at the clock etc. Is this normal, or is it just my laptop?
The other issue I'm having is that when I leave Chrome open and do switch back to the desktop to use other programs, quite often (but seemingly randomly) Chrome has shut itself down when I try to switch back to it, and I get the "Chrome didn't shut down properly" message and have to click the "restore" button to bring back any tabs I left open.
This is obviously not supposed to happen, so if anyone has any suggestions that would be great!
Thanks in advance,
Robbie
