I did the usual monthly Windows 8 updates/patches for September. Everything seemed to go normally. The next time I started the computer I recvd a message telling me
"Failure converting windows updates. Reverting changes, do not turn off your computer."
The computer rebooted, everything again seemed normal. But it seems that everyday I get the same message.
It starts by giving the message that it is doing updates and is at 56%. Shortly it drops back to the above message and does a restart. When the restart completes the computer performs fine until the next day and it does it all over again.
Obviously (to me) the problem is an update that is not being installed or failing to install and so each day it uses the automatic update installation to try again.
I'm looking for help/solutions.
Thank you.
