Have 15 month old computer with Win7 and use Hotmail/Outlook for e-mail, Last Dec upgraded to Win8/IE10 and everything
worked fine in both modes. Use Win7 mode most of the time and Win8 Mail Tile for e-mail to become more comfortable with
the upgrade. A few months ago I composed and sent an e-mail and when I returned to the inbox the screen opened blank
with "Unable to sync" on upper left and my "e-mail address unavailable" on upper right. Most of the folders also blank. Returned to Win7 mode and signed into my Outlook account which opened perfectly with all contents available including the
e-mail I sent from Win8. All other win8 Tiles are OK. A tech savvy friend tried to locate problem to no avail and a Microsoft Rep
at Best Buy also clueless. All updates have been installed including a few from the Store Tile. Hope to eventually install the
8.1 upgrade. .Am a not very tech Senior and if necessary have no problem continuing to the Win7 mode to sign in to my e-mail account. Only use computer for e-mail and the Web. Nothing else.
