Hello everyone, the problem I have is this: Once having WIN XP I saved much of my work ( around 100 GB) onto an external hard drive of around 250 GB. I now have windows 8 and I wish to open the backup files to view or delete to make room for further backups. I have spent hours on the internet trying to work out how to do this without success. Some procedures want me to play with file history but my computer says file history is off and I cannot find a way to turn it on.I would appreciate it if someone can guide me through the steps or alternatively direct me to a site that can help.
