This is a multi-type problem:
I have a problem. It is a series of problems. I just acquired an Acer laptop (refurb) with no instructions and with Windows 8.
The Acer laptop is a 15.6" Aspire Laptop 8GB 1TB/V5-571P-6609.
I have 3 computers in my house already, and a wireless router. I have 2 of the computers hard-wired to the router, but the third computer is with a wireless connection.
I have established a password for the Acer Win 8, and it recognizes the network name that I use for my wireless router.
(1) I need to know how to make a wireless connection with my Acer Win 8.
(2) I need to know how to get rid of the sample Microsoft Office that came with the Acer Win 8, and any other nuisance software that is installed on the computer.
(3) I would like to uninstall Win 8 and put XP Pro on the computer. Or, I would like to be able to simulate Win XP on the computer as is. I find it very difficult to maneuver in the Win 8 setup.
(4) I am not able to visually determine if the caps lock or the num lock is on.
If possible, please address these problems one at a time.
