I just purchased Dell inspiron 14 running windows 8, and I am having some problems.
1. Some times the screen shifts spontaneously, and getting back to the application I was working with is difficult. It happens with IE quite often when I have more than one tab open at the same time. The system just does not stay with the tab I am reading.
2. Suddenly the desk top disappears and some thing else opens up,
3. Are the following utilities, that I have found very helpful, compatible with windows 8?
a) 'Delete on next boot'
b) 'unlocker'
c) 'take ownership'
d) 'Ccleanner'
4. I have a automatic disk defragmenter, that worked with Windows Vista. Will it also work with windows 8?
5. I have installed Office 2007 on inspiron. I configured Outlook's user account exactly as it was configured on my older laptop, but it is unable to 'send/receive' ,
I shall be grateful for any help in this matter.
